Summary

Digital technologies used in dentistry are not only a rising trend but also a vision that will shape the future of the profession. It is a set of technologies that reduce the dependence on the predictable, quick and human factor in dental clinics in order to eliminate the problems that will arise during the transfer by eliminating the transfer of the impression transfer from being a job in the treatment stages and transmitting it electronically within minutes, to realize the intermediate sessions of the patients in a more predictable and short form with three-dimensional printer outputs, to shorten the production times of the work done and to place the prostheses completed with materials more compatible with the patient's tissues. These technologies include three-dimensional scanning software, printers and milling machines, and many systems that should work in every life-satisfying way.

Learning outcomes

The aim of this training is primarily to explain the tricks to be known in order to place properly positioned implants in the prosthesis to be produced using digital technologies, to understand the difference between digital technologies and analog technologies, to master the parts used during production, to recognize the materials compatible with these technologies and to explain the indications to be placed with all these materials and parts.
