After graduating from Hacettepe University in 1993, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Bilhan, who is married and has 3 children, received his education in the field of oral surgery at Karl-Franzens University in Graz, Austria. After completing his doctorate in Switzerland in the department of oral surgery at Zürich University Faculty of Dentistry, Bilhan completed his doctorate in the field of prosthodontics at Istanbul University Faculty of Dentistry, Prosthodontics between 1996-2004 and earned the title of Associate Professor in 2012 and worked as a lecturer at the same university until 2014.

After working for 18 years at Istanbul University, Dr. Hakan Bilhan, who worked as the founding head of the department and faculty member at Okan University Faculty of Dentistry, Department of Prosthodontics between 2014-2017, moved to Germany in 2017 and continues to work as a faculty member at Witten/Herdecke University while working in a private clinic. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Bilhan, who has many national and international publications and presentations mainly in the field of removable prostheses, complete edentulism, dental implants and gerodontology, collaborates with MIA academy.

International Scientific Study
In a scientific study published in "Implant Dentistry: The Official Journal Of The International Congress of Oral Implantologists", Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hakan Bilhan, Lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Witten University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Onur Geçkili, Lecturer at the Department of Prosthodontics, Faculty of Dentistry, Istanbul University, academically documented the success of the Mode RAPID implant design in primary stabilization, especially in bone types with difficult stability. In this study, which is expected to attract a lot of attention, it is also reported that even dentists who are new to implantology can achieve primary stability very easily thanks to this implant design.
